About
Jr. Wolves is a new program for 10 to 13 year olds. Youth can join a soccer team, basketball team, ball hockey team, or multiple teams!
The Jr. Wolves provides youth the opportunity to train and play with a committed team and caring coaches in city-wide leagues. This is a great first step to joining the Wolves, our more competitive stream.
Program Costs
The Wolves Athletics Club runs on a “Contribute What You Can” membership. Our goal is to be open to any youth who wants to experience positive and supportive coaching. We believe the best teams, and the best communities, require people from different backgrounds who all support each other.

1) How did you become involved in Coaching soccer?
Moving to Canada from Germany had a huge impact on why I got involved in coaching soccer. I am very passionate about developing soccer in Canada and creating pathways for youth to give them hope to reach huge goals.
2) What do you enjoy most about coaching?
As a Coach, you always face different challenges and you have to determine how to overcome them. It is never boring and the development you see in players who worked with you over time is truly awesome.
3) Share a highlight or favourite moment from your time at Free Play.
Our first two seasons as a club have been so full of highlights it's hard to choose! The U13 Boys won Gold in their very first Outdoor Season and the U15 Boys won Silver in the following Indoor season. Moments like that I will never forget.
4) What is one of your quotes that you live by personally and/or professionally?
Jose Mourinho: 'The most important quality a player can have is not skill, but mentality.'
5)List any coaching certifications or coach education that you possess.
Due to playing at the highest level of youth soccer in Germany (U19-Bundesliga), I experienced a lot of elite coaching. When I came to Canada I decided to continue my coaching journey by starting to complete Canada Soccer's Coach Education and Certification program, and am expecting to complete my C-License shortly.
6)Outside of coaching, what are your interests or hobbies?
I still love to play soccer and watch my teams FC Liverpool and Hannover 96 play every weekend. Since I am in Canada I enjoy nature a lot and also love to spend time fishing with my brother.
